Account Management

How do I delete my account?

To delete your Apex account, navigate to the Configurations tab, scroll to the bottom and select 'Delete Account,' and follow the prompts. Please note that this action is irreversible and will remove all your data from the platform.

Can I log into Apex using more than one email address?

No, Apex currently supports logging in with a single email address per account for security purposes. If you need multiple access points, consider using a shared email address.

Email Management

How do I manage audience members who want to unsubscribe from emails?

Apex includes an automated unsubscribe management system. When a recipient chooses to unsubscribe, they are automatically removed from your email list, ensuring compliance with email marketing regulations.

Can I add dynamic variables / merge tags in my emails?

Yes, you can add dynamic variables or merge tags to personalize your emails based on customer data such as first name, purchase history, and more. This enhances the relevance and engagement of your email campaigns.

Email Deliverability

If an email fails to deliver to the primary recipient, will any CC recipients or BCC recipients still be sent?

In some cases, an email failure for the primary recipient will result in CC and BCCs not being sent. These would include issues like attempting to send an email to an invalid email address ("invalid" meaning not an email at all), or if a journey purposely excludes a the recipient through a cooldown.

Analytics

What is open rate and how is it calculated?

The open rate is the percentage of email recipients who open your email. It is calculated by dividing the number of unique opens by the total number of emails delivered, then multiplying by 100.

What is click rate and how is it calculated?

The click rate is the percentage of recipients who clicked on one or more links in your email. It is calculated by dividing the number of unique clicks by the total number of emails delivered, then multiplying by 100.

Journey Builder

Can I add additional Action, Logic, and Timing cards to the journey canvas?

Adding additional cards to the canvas is not available in our initial release. As we expand the platform, we will enable users to build journeys from scratch, allowing the free addition and removal of available journey cards.

How do I move the canvas around when building a journey?

In the initial release, the canvas is locked in place. We plan to introduce the ability to pan around the canvas in future updates as we expand the platform's capabilities.

What happens when I delete a journey

When you delete a journey, the system will:

  • Remove all existing audience members and scheduled actions (e.g., emails) in the journey.

  • Delete all email statistics for that journey from the Homepage.

What happens when I update a published journey

Updating a published journey will apply all changes only to new audience members. In other words, changes made to a published journey will not affect existing audience members already in the journey.

Example: If you update the content of the second email in a journey, only new audience members who join the journey after the update will receive the revised email. Existing audience members who have already entered the journey will still receive the original version of the second email.

Integrations

How do I manage/update forms in Webflow?

To manage or update forms in Webflow, go to your Webflow dashboard, navigate to the project containing the form, and make the necessary changes. These updates will automatically sync with Apex if the forms are integrated.

Does Apex integrate with any other platform beyond Webflow?

We're committed to creating a rock-solid user experience, which begins with perfecting our integration. That's why we're currently focused exclusively on Webflow. Once we have that nailed down, we'll turn to our users for guidance on where to build next.
